Discover your Soul through Meditation

A large number of people face problems pertaining to concentration. Our mind is preoccupied by a number of thoughts which hinder us to concentrate on the task which we are doing now. The key to improve concentration is to focus on now. But instead of focusing on now most people keep thinking about events that occurred in the past or the events that might happen in future. Over a period of time our mind get too use to this thinking process and we badly lose our concentration level. To change the way in which our mind works we need to practice mediation. Meditation can be defined as bring your mind to a state in which it is thoughtless. All fears, worries, emotions, anger are thoughts which act like clutter for our mental health. We must clear our mind of this clutter in order to improve our concentration.

This is a transformational process and takes time to work properly. Thus, you need to be patient and ready to employ your sincere efforts towards improving your concentration through meditation. The amount of time you may take to learn mediation depends on your current concentration level and many other factors like what you are going through in your life. Various meditation techniques exist which are used to enable people learn it in a systematic manner. Osho, defined several mediation techniques for million of disciples all over the world to experience realization. One simple technique is to sit in a comfortable position and just concentrate on your breath. Feel the cold air entering your body through nostrils reaching your stomach through throat while inhaling. You can feel the warm air going out of your body through the same path. Try to focus on the coolness and warmness felt at nostrils and throat areas while inhaling and exhaling, respectively.

After ten to fifteen minutes there will come a stage when your mind will completely be focused on your breadth and will be get rid of all the clutter that hinder your concentration. If you reach this stage stop concentrating on your breath and at this stage you will discover your soul. You will be able to connect directly to your soul as the role of your mind which acts as obstruction has been halted. This stage is pinnacle of spirituality. If you master this art of getting connected to your soul you can discover your inner self. You feel experience a great level of concentration, your mind will be in your control and this is peace which every soul carves for.

Your life will become more purposeful you will begin to remain calmer and less aggressive. It will also improve your overall health as your resistance against diseases will become more powerful. It is important to perform meditation regularly even when your concentration level is good. Teaching of Osho says that meditation can be practices anywhere and at any time. So you are not required to reach a particular place to practice meditation, you can do it at your home, in office, in a bus or any other place of your choice.
